Ligia Oliveira

It is with profound sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved and cherished mother, Ligia Oliveira on January 20, 2024, at the age of 80.  She was the wife of the late João Oliveira Coelho, and the daughter of the late Irene Aguiar and late Antonio Daniel Aguiar.  She is predeceased by her brother David.

She is survived by her children Ines, Elvina, Alina (Carol), John, Irene, and her granddaughter Isabel.  She also leaves in mourning her sisters Liliana, Deolinda, Celina, and Irene.  She will be missed by many.

Condolences and visitations will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6 pm to 9 pm, and Friday, February 2,  from 9 am to 10 am at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais - Vérendrye Pavillion, 1369 La Vérendrye Boulevard West in Gatineau.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11 am at the Portuguese Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit (Sainte Bernadette), 13 Sainte-Bernadette Street, Gatineau, Quebec.
